About this role
Job Title: KOL, PR& Events Officer
JOB DESCRIPTION
Working alongside the marketing team, you’ll be planning and delivering local events, influencer (KOL) stays, PR and media projects across our luxury Hokkaido portfolio.
Day-to-day you'll be booking and hosting KOLs, assisting with event coordination and execution, and liaising with partners and suppliers. Expect a mix of desk work and hands-on event days — including early starts, late finishes, and the occasional trip to Furano or Rusutsu.
You'll thrive here if you have a background in events, PR or marketing (travel / tourism a bonus), strong communication skills, and a no-task-too-small attitude.
JOB OVERVIEW/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own influencer and media projects end-to-end — from outreach and agreements to hosting, reporting, and everything in between.
• Be the first face KOLs, media and VIP guests see on arrival, and their go-to contact throughout their stay.
• Plan and deliver events across the season—Christmas, NYE, and Lunar New (yes, that sometimes means serving drinks, or wearing a costume).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, agents, venues, hotel staff and talent.
• Proactively scout new influencer talent via social media and email in line with the team's strategy.
• Track and report on KOL and media partnership performance.
• Pitch in across the wider marketing team from content writing, KOL transport, social—whatever the season throws at us.
• Be a competent skier or snowboarder for those occasional days where work takes you to the mountain (yes, it happens).
