Job Purpose: This role acts as the central technical owner for the AI platform rollout, ensuring that the platform is scalable, secure, reusable, and aligned with group-wide architecture principles. The Platform Engineering Lead defines how AI capabilities are industrialized across OpCos, balancing innovation with operational stability, compliance, and long-term maintainability. The role provides technical direction for platform evolution, evaluates emerging AI technologies, and ensures that reusable patterns, templates, and standards are established to accelerate adoption across business units. A key success factor is the ability to translate strategic AI ambitions into a robust technical foundation that enables fast, safe, and consistent delivery of AI solutions.
Role insights:
• Define group-wide platform roadmap, architecture and technical standards. • Own platform security, access controls, and integrations. • Manage platform deployments and operational readiness. • Coordinate with infrastructure (cloud and onprem),Telephony, security, and data teams. • Have stronger decision on federated API, MCP standrards and utilisation. • Support scaling AI solutions across business units. • Align prioritization list of demands form business units and manage stakeholders expectations. • Coordinate security and compliance approvals. • Primary counterpart to external vendors. • Act as escalation point for complex technical, security, or integration decisions.
What makes you unique:
• 5+ years in software engineering, cloud, or platform engineering. • 3+ years leading technical teams or enterprise platforms. • Azure, DevOps, security, and integration experience. • Strong LLM, RAG, context/harness engineering skills. • Strong skills in Agentic AI principles. • Strong understanding of technology landscape. • Excellent technical leadership and stakeholder management skills. • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
