Job Summary
The Handyman would be responsible for building and ground maintenance which includes performing basic carpentry, plumbing, painting (wood, metal and wall) duties across the Production Plant.
Job Responsibilities:
• Making repairs to dolleys
• Sorting of tools
• Upkeep of ladders
• Sharpening of knives and scissors
• Cleaning of insectocutors
• Cleaning of drains/ grease traps
• Inspection of wells
• Assisting with tyre changes
• Washing of trucks
• Pressure washing of specific areas- ie cafp/pad
• Basic repairs to roofing- flash band etc
• Changing of door; hinge removal, lock change
• Faucet and tap installations as well as repairs
• Assist Maintenance Technicians in their duties
• Basic masonry
• Use and care of workshop tools
• Change of plucker fingers
• Basic lubrication- use of grease gun
• Replacement of bathroom lights
• Scaffolding erection
• Upkeep of workshop
