ACCOUNTING OFFICER
Job Description:
• Assist in financial analysis by interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and preparing reports to support decision-making
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing accurate and timely financial information
• Accurately maintain and update books of accounts (Journal, Ledger)
• Collect daily, weekly, and monthly employee timesheets
• Calculate employee work hours
• Manage onboarding and off boarding of employees
• Use quality monitoring data management system to compile and track performance at team and individual level
• Enter new employee data into company’s database
• Work hand in hand with the HR Manager to collect the data necessary for the performance management and improvement systems and programs to be implemented by the HR Department
• Participate in the implementation of regulatory compliance and reporting
• Contribute in policy development and documentation
• Contribute to the development and smooth flow of company-employee communication
• Adhere and assist in facilitating programs for employee safety, welfare, and wellness education
• Monitor formats and quality standards
• Respond to employee questions about compensation, benefits, and deductions
• Distribute payment statements
• Participate in meetings with top level executives
• Communicate and transact with different providers
• Actively source providers that can enhance and automate the financial-related processes of the company
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting Management, Business Administration, Financial Administration, Human Resource Management or equivalent course
• 6 months to 1 year accounting related experience
• Has at least 1 year experience as Payroll Accountant
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Knowledgeable in manual bookkeeping: maintaining non-digital journals and ledgers by hand to keep track of receivable and payable accounts (Books of Accounts)
• Experience processing at least 80 to 100 employee salaries
• Familiar with Labor Laws
• High level of integrity and able to handle confidential information
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Creative ability & writing proficiency
• Effectively deal with people at all levels
• Detail-oriented
• Strong ability to execute while managing multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines
• Can flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
• Must adapt well to change and successfully set and adjust priorities as needed
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word- intermediate | Excel- expert)
Equipment Requirements:
• Laptop/Desktop (at least i3/i5 processor or any equivalent AMD processor with 8 GB RAM)
• Windows OS: 10 and above
• Computer headset with noise-cancelling feature
• HD Webcam
• Wired internet connection; minimum of 30 mbps DL and 10 mbps UL
• Software: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, PDF reader, Anydesk, Discord, Zoom
