Job title: Corporate Partnership Officer

Job purpose
Support the development program with a focus on corporate giving through cultivating partnerships.
Duties and responsibilities
• Be the first point of contact for LINC’s corporate partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with businesses to sponsor fundraising events, campaigns, and make annual donations, as well as provide resources, volunteer support and skills training.
• Work with Marketing and PR to target companies and feature our corporate sponsors on LINC’s website, social media, blogs and in printed material.
• Assist with management of LINC's LinkedIn account to spread awareness of our mission, network with nonprofits and secure corporate partners.
• Connect with all our previous and current donors recorded in CRM on LinkedIn.
• Support with devising and implementing successful fundraising activities for partners, ensuring all financial targets are achieved and where possible, surpassed.
• Research and prospect companies that have similar mission, vision and values as LINC to create partnerships that will produce financial support, shared resources, and/or promote LINC with their network/community.
• Work closely with the Finance Assistant and Account Manager to ensure the following are done, in regard to corporate donors, in a timely manner: a. Ensure donations are deposited in the bank b. Donations are recorded in our CRM c. Ensure appropriate tax receipts are sent
• Manage and update details in company’s profile within our CRM (NeonCRM). a. Contact name/number/addresses b. Create notes with pertinent information c. Ensure appropriate tags are linked to account d. Communicate with CRM Specialist to add/remove the account to appropriate email audience list
• Work closely with In-Kind Donation Officers to acquire, record, and allocate corporate merchandise donations, especially for fundraiser events.
• Produce all necessary reports relating to corporate partners in an accurate and timely manner.
• Commit to external networking with relevant businesses and sector networking with peers.
• Maintain compliance and adherence with processes to ensure good governance.
• Research the employers of our donors to see if they provide company match opportunities for their employees' charitable donations
• Contact necessary parties when appropriate and make note of communication in CRM
• Ensure that information is obtained, used and stored in a confidential manner.
Qualifications
• Experience in creating and delivering fundraising activities for a corporate audience.
• Demonstrable experience of supporting the growth and retention of partnerships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills.
• A demonstrable passion for, and affinity with, LINC’s cause
• Strong PC skills and ability to learn LINC’s CRM and systems.
• Knowledgeable in the use of social media platforms.

Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business or communications or equivalent role and responsibilities.
• Extensive familiarity of hands-on fundraising experience.
Certifications
• Fundraising certification is a plus.

Working Conditions
• Willingness to put in more working hours, even at odd times.
• The majority of work for this role is remote, however face-to-face meetings are required at times with potential, current, and past corporate partners.
• Ability to commute to and from meetings with corporate partners.
Physical requirements
• This position operates in a professional office environment and remote/virtually. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
• Ability to travel to and from meetings with corporate partners when necessary. Must have personal automobile insurance.
