We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations & Reporting Manager to oversee financial reporting, reconciliation, pipeline analysis, and operational insights for our Medical Billing Negotiation department.

As the Financial Operations & Reporting Manager, you will serve as the financial owner of the Medical Billing Negotiation pipeline, ensuring the integrity of financial data while providing leadership with accurate reporting and actionable operational insights.
Working closely with Finance, Legal, and Negotiation teams, you'll oversee financial controls, reconciliation, aging analysis, dashboard development, and reporting processes that support organizational efficiency and faster financial recovery.
Your work will directly influence cash flow, reporting accuracy, operational performance, and executive decision-making.

What You'll Do
Financial Data Integrity & Accounting Control
• Ensure the accurate recording of settlement-related financial transactions.
• Maintain the integrity of financial records related to medical bills, settlements, and adjustments.
• Perform reconciliations across financial systems and case management data.
• Validate financial accuracy before reporting and business analysis.
Case Aging & Financial Reporting
• Maintain and monitor real-time aging reports for all pending Medical Billing Negotiation cases.
• Track financial movement throughout settlement and negotiation stages.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial and operational reports for leadership.
• Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all reporting datasets.
Pipeline & Inventory Financial Management
• Analyze pending negotiation inventory from a financial and operational perspective.
• Segment cases based on financial value, complexity, and processing stage.
• Identify bottlenecks, delays, and risks impacting financial closure.
• Support prioritization strategies that improve recovery timelines and operational efficiency.
Financial Analysis & Operational Insights
• Transform financial and case data into actionable business insights.
• Analyze trends affecting backlog, settlement timelines, and cash flow.
• Develop KPIs and performance metrics for negotiation operations.
• Provide strategic recommendations that support informed leadership decisions.
Process Improvement & Reporting Systems
• Design and enhance financial tracking systems and reporting structures.
• Develop dashboards that improve visibility into the Medical Billing Negotiation pipeline.
• Improve reporting workflows through automation and process standardization.
• Identify opportunities to increase reporting efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Serve as the financial liaison between Finance, Legal, and Medical Billing Negotiation teams.
• Ensure alignment between operational case status and financial records.
• Resolve financial discrepancies through cross-functional collaboration.
• Support leadership with timely, accurate, and actionable financial information.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
• Experience in financial operations, reporting, accounting, financial analysis, or business operations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Experience developing financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to financial accuracy and data integrity.
• Professional proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting Medical Billing Negotiation, legal services, healthcare, or Personal Injury operations.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms.
• Familiarity with case management systems and operational financial reporting.
• Experience with reporting automation and workflow optimization.
• Knowledge of financial forecasting, operational analytics, and KPI development.
• Experience leveraging AI technologies to improve reporting and financial operations.
