About this role
This is professional work which involves the identification and treatment of patients in a clinical and occasional surgical environment for one of Mississippi Sports Medicine’s pain sub-specialist physicians. In accordance with the Mississippi Board of Nursing approved protocol, the Nurse Practitioner may assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate responses to treatment. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner provides education and counseling to facilitate disease prevention measures as well as health promotion.
