Join our talented team as we embark on an uncharted gaming adventure! We're on the lookout for a passionate AI Programmer to contribute their skills to our Dungeons & Dragons® PC/Console project. This innovative game will blend the features of Action-RPG / Survival with unique elements of life-simulation games to redefine the genre and capture the imaginations of players worldwide.
The game is being developed by Gameloft Montreal, so you will collaborate mainly with this studio. Fluent English is required to communicate effectively with the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement AI systems for in-game characters, including pathfinding, decision-making, and tactical behaviorsCollaborate with designers and other programmers to integrate AI into gameplay mechanicsWrite efficient and maintainable code in C#Continuously optimize and refine AI systems for performance and qualityDebug and troubleshoot AI-related issuesContribute to the development of tools for AI creation and testingStay current with the latest developments and trends in AI within the gaming industry Bachelor’s degree in computer science, game development, or a related fieldMastery of the English languageAt least 6-8 years of proven experience in game programming, with a portfolio showcasing completed projectsSolid understanding of AI principles, such as state machines, behavior trees, and pathfinding algorithmsStrong proficiency in C# and experience with UnityExcellent problem-solving and debugging skillsPassion for games and an understanding of game design principlesAbility to work effectively in a team and communicate technical conceptsExperience with version control systems, such as GitPreferred Skills:
