About this role

SUMMARY Therapy Assistants provide first class interventions to children with special needs from 0 to 17 years of age and their families. Reporting to the Jordan’s Principle (JP) Coordinator at Keewaytinook Okimakanak Tribal Council, the therapy assistant collaboratively develops and implements the recommended therapies, addressing the physical, social, emotional and spiritual care needs of clients and their caregivers. Therapy Assistant works with a team of health care professionals in the JP program. This individual will provide client centered services to JP clients in their own community.
