About this role

The Regional Business Manager is responsible for establishing, maintaining and evaluating all sales and support initiatives of the Sales and Marketing department to support the company’s overall goals and objectives. Also responsible for conducting operational and logistical support to enhance customer relationships and meet organizational goals and objectives.

Territory

Phoenix, AZ; Las Vegas, NV; and San Diego, CAEssential Duties & Responsibilities

Represent and promote the products and mission of the company in a positive and professional manner at all timesMaintain and grow business within territory as defined by managementAssist with account management and development of customer accountsEstablish leads and strategic business relationships with customersUncover and develop new accounts including introduction to Gold Standard, deal negotiations and closing of dealsEnsure the smooth flow of information between customers, company management and other parties involved in the sales processSend or deliver marketing materials, technical documents, and price quotes to customers upon requestCoordinate and schedule company resources to facilitate an efficient purchase, delivery and follow-up experience for all customersConduct well organized product presentations and demonstrations to customers in personal, virtually as well as at trade shows and conventionsResearch products and consult technical experts as needed to answer customer questionsAssist and maintain customer reporting and CRM data managementWork with Sales Operations to effectively coordinate travel and strategy to fill Opportunity funnelEnsure proper documentation occurs throughout the sales process (general communication, opportunity status, customer profile, quotes and contracts)Coordinate trade show logistics in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing teamsFollow up on leads generated by web-based advertising, trade shows, partners, etc.Attend conventions, sales meetings and training programs as required by managementPerform additional duties as assigned by management To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience

Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in biological science or other field related to the position. Degrees in Science or engineering are acceptable.Degrees in business or communications may be acceptable if technical training has been completed.Diagnostic and capital equipment sales experience required.At least 3 years previous work experience in a similar position requiredPrevious experience in the medical service or medical products industry preferredPrior experience with diagnostics reagents preferredPrevious sales management experience preferredComputer Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Internet Explorer, Chrome, or FirefoxMust be willing and able to learn other software programs as needed.Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities

Effective communication and analytical skills requiredGeneral Laboratory knowledge (use of equipment; pipetting; personal safety, general lab practices)Technical knowledge of Immunochemistry & ELISA testingAbility to communicate technical information and problems with customers and co-workersAbility to learn new & existing instrumentation and software technologyDiplomacy and tact in resolving issues with customers and co-workersAbility to travel on short notice for periods of up to one weekMust be able to coordinate own travel arrangement when traveling to customer sitesStrong business planning and organization skillsMust be able to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to meet and exceed goalsMust be able and willing to adhere to corporation personnel policies and practices, including attendance and punctuality requirementsKnowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (cGMP) and International Standards (ISO) pertaining to medical devicesCertificate and Licenses

Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving recordReasoning Ability

Ability to interpret a variety of instruction furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Math Ability

Understanding of basic math and financial principles required for evaluating business, completing quotes and performing business reviews.

Language Ability

Must have the ability to perform all of the following in English:

Compensation:

$105k-$115k + commissionSchedule:
