Equity Analyst, Public Real Estate Securities – Asia Pacific
Under the direction of the Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for:
Quantitative and qualitative analysis of an assigned portfolio of 20-30 publicly-traded real estate companies across Asia Pacific Macroeconomic and real estate market research for assigned countries and sectors, providing investment recommendations for the portfolio manager. Building and maintaining company valuation models and a recommended stock list. Preparing and presenting research reports to the investment team. Attending company meetings and communicating with senior management of assigned companies as well as participating in field trips and property inspections.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other related field
3+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
Familiar with industry standard concepts, practices, and procedures
Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; a degree of creativity and latitude is required
Strong organizational skills and work ethic The ideal candidate will possess a passion for real estate and the securities markets, strong academic background in finance, economics, accounting or real estate. Excellent written and analytical skills are essential, together with fluency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin.
