The person in this position plays a key role in the evolution and optimization of business applications by serving as a technology partner to the business units. Reporting to the IT Director, Transformation, and Enterprise Solutions Optimization, this individual analyzes needs, evaluates technological opportunities, and contributes to the design of integrated, high-performance solutions aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze the needs of business units and translate them into clear, comprehensive, and actionable functional requirements for the technology teams.
• Develop a thorough understanding of enterprise applications, their functionalities, their configurations, and their interactions with other systems.
• Identify opportunities for automation and optimization, then assess the functional, technological, and operational impacts of the proposed changes.
• Collaborate with business teams, technology specialists, and vendors to design integrated, scalable solutions aligned with the company’s strategic direction.
• Document current and future processes, business rules, data requirements, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Plan and support acceptance testing, validate solution compliance, and assist users in adopting new features and processes.
Desired Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, information systems, or any related field.
• Five (5) to eight (8) years of relevant experience in IT business analysis, functional analysis, process improvement, integration, or application solution management.
• Experience with business solutions such as ERP, POS, OMS, WMS, CRM, HR, and financial systems, or digital platforms.
• Solid understanding of the application lifecycle and the various stages of design, configuration, integration, validation, deployment, and evolution of a solution.
• Ability to understand a complex technological environment and assess the impact of a change on multiple systems or processes.
• Knowledge of a retail, omnichannel, or distribution environment is a significant asset.
• Ability to communicate in French and English, both verbally and in writing. Benefits
