Job Profile:
Counterpart International is currently seeking a Grants Manager to support an anticipated bid in Kosovo: Up to Youth opportunity. This is a full-time position.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Grants Manager will assist in the design, advertisement, and selection of grants in coordination with technical staff, and oversees compliance and quality of activity. Requires experience in grants management and financial and technical reporting skills.
Qualifications:
Education:
• Relevant degree in a related field;
Experience:
• Minimum of 4-6 years of progressively responsible experience in international development;
• Previous experience managing grant implementation for USAID-funded programs highly preferred;
• Prior experience in grants management and financial and technical reporting skills;
• Previous experience working in Kosovo and/or the Balkans is highly desired;
• Experience working effectively with government officials, non-government partners, and USAID and/or other donors.
• Demonstrated leadership capacity and experience supervising teams of diverse staff.
Languages:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Prior experience working in official languages in Kosovo (Albanian and Serbian); strongly preferred.
