Job Title: Fitter Location: CK International, Dungannon Reports To: Production Manager
Job Description: CK International is seeking a skilled and reliable Fitter to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and testing balers and compactors to the highest quality standards. This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and fit components for recycling and waste equipment
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic installations
• Ensure all builds meet quality and safety standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices
Key Requirements:
• Previous experience in a mechanical fitting or assembly role
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Health and safety awareness
