The candidate will support installation of new equipment as well as operation, maintenance and optimization of existing equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience or exposure to facilities systems including but not limited to Compressed Air, Vacuum, Process Gases, Chillers, Cleanrooms, HVAC and Controls (BAS / BMS). We are seeking a candidate who has a broad engineering skillset and with a strong hands-on aptitude. Day to Day Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Deliver strong project leadership skills through the project initiation, planning, implementation and closeout phases.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Develop project concepts, scopes, estimates, schedules, design, installation & startup documentation.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Exercise good judgment, sound engineering principles and utilize structured problem-solving techniques.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Lead, guide, coach & help develop internal Corning & contingent employees as well as external contractors.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Procurement – Assemble RFQ’s, bids, and solicit quotes from suppliers and contractors. Procure goods and services through internal procurement buyers and systems. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Contractor Management – work with and manage external contractors to maintain and install facilities systems and equipment. Manage contractor work via direct supervision including site orientation, work scope, safety performance, and documentation.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Actively work and participate in project teams in various roles and capacities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Manage new equipment design projects to ensure timely drawing completion, material sourcing, fabrication, testing, shipment, and installation/commissioning.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Application of engineering principles primarily in the fields of mechanical/electrical design, cleanroom design, HVAC and Building Automation.</li> <li
