<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><p>Seeking a Senior Planner in our Valencia location to plan materials for production flow lines in line with MRP system requirements and ensure appropriate and effective levels of available on-hand inventory. Reporting to the Department Manager, this role is an integral part of a larger dedicated planning team where collaboration is required to ensure targets are met and procedures are followed. The ideal candidate for this position thrives in a dynamic and challenging environment, ensures that this function is continuously improving, adds value to the organization, and collaborates with various company disciplines to achieve on-time delivery and cost requirements.</p> <p>Responsibilities<br>• Promote work orders from MRP system to ensure timely release and completion of components in line with production planning requirements<br>• Review and Process required MRP exception messages<br>• Maintain schedule, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path issues and network logic conflicts.<br>• Implement and maintain Kanban processes<br>• Collaborate with Program Management and Contracts to understand demand forecast drivers<br>• Provide input in developing departmental strategies for inventory on existing items, new product introduction and phase outs<br>• Perform related inventory transactions into ERP system<br>• Work with demand forecasting, incorporating current and accurate information. <br>• Execute excellence around stock and demand replenishment providing feedback to the supply chain on risks regarding replenishment levels and demand.<br>• Plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.<br>• Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><p>• Bachelor’s degree in business, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline a plus.<br>• HS Diploma or GED required. <br>• Minimum of 8 years of directly related experience in a planning/scheduling role within a manufacturing environment required.<br>• Ability to perform effectively in a fast -paced environment with strong attention to detail.<br>• MRP Experience a MUST.<br>• Intermediate level of Microsoft Office competencies.<br>• Experience in statistical reporting, forecasting, and understanding of financial and operational impacts of forecasting<br>• Strong communication and organizational skills<br>• Problem-solving under constraints<br>• Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams<br>• Participate in production meetings, reporting on status and any issues. </p> <p><br>Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities<br>• Aerospace experience<br>• APICS certification </p></div></div></div>
