Location: 446 Poplar Street, Ste B, Macon, Georgia
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Position Summary
Millennium Physician Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA) with 3+ years of experience to join our high‑volume outpatient practice in Macon, GA. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced clinical environment. Strong knowledge of Athena EMR is required. How will you make an impact & Requirements Key Responsibilities
• Rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and documenting medical histories
• Assisting providers with examinations and procedures
• Administering injections, performing phlebotomy, and completing basic MA clinical tasks
• Managing high‑volume patient flow efficiently
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in Athena
• Coordinating referrals, authorizations, and patient follow‑up
• Supporting front‑office tasks as needed (phones, scheduling, check‑in/out)
Required Qualifications
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) – required
• 3+ years of MA experience in a clinical setting
• Proficiency with Athena EMR
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a high‑volume workload
• Bilingual not required
