Role OverviewThe Sales & Growth Manager will be responsible for driving large-scale adoption of a digital business platform among SMEs. This is a high-volume, growth-led role, not a traditional enterprise sales position.
The role requires creative acquisition strategies, experimentation with multiple channels, and the ability to scale small-ticket solutions across a wide SME base efficiently.
Key ResponsibilitiesGrowth & Customer Acquisition Develop and execute scalable acquisition strategies targeting SMEs across retail, food & beverage, personal services, and related sectors Drive customer acquisition through referrals, partnerships, digital campaigns, and direct outreach Continuously optimize channels to improve reach, engagement, and conversion at scale Product Adoption & Onboarding Clearly communicate platform value to SME owners with a focus on simplicity, speed, and immediate impact Enable rapid onboarding and early activation across a high volume of customers Implement initiatives that encourage organic growth and customer referrals Pipeline & Performance Management Manage large volumes of inbound and outbound opportunities Track acquisition performance, conversion metrics, and growth KPIs using CRM and analytics tools Test, refine, and scale successful acquisition approaches based on data insights Report performance and market learnings to senior leadership Collaboration & Market Insights Work closely with Marketing on campaigns, digital content, demos, and promotional initiatives Capture customer feedback to improve positioning, messaging, and adoption Experiment with new channels, incentives, and engagement models Requirements
Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience 3–6 years in SME-focused sales, growth, or acquisition roles Experience with digital platforms, SaaS products, or mobile-first solutions preferred Proven ability to scale customer acquisition through non-traditional and high-volume approaches Comfortable managing thousands of small-ticket opportunities rather than enterprise deals Skills & Attributes Entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset Strong understanding of SME decision-making behavior Excellent communication and persuasion skills Data-driven with a willingness to test, iterate, and optimize Highly energetic, self-motivated, and performance-driven
