About this role
Provides general administrative support to a department or group under general supervision. Performs work that is varied and generally administrative and/ or project oriented.Essential duties include the following:
• Champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner. • Resolves routine inquiries and questions and responds to correspondence or telephone contacts in area of responsibility within guidelines established by supervisor. • Composes correspondence and other written documentation. • Compiles data from reports using required knowledge of departmental, project or Company policies and procedures. • May be responsible for or assist with data entry and basic processing for the Company's financial or human resources system. • May be required to maintain office supplies and equipment. • May screen calls, receive and direct visitors. • Provides back-up for other support staff as needed. • May serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside assigned areas regarding administrative issues on purchasing, personnel, facilities and operations. • May review accounts payable invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. • Performs any and all job duties as assigned by supervisory personnel including general labor, as necessary. • This position is required to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
