Position Overview The Manager, Fund Accounting is a key member of the finance organization, reporting to the Director & Controller, Fund Accounting. This role is responsible for overseeing core fund accounting, financial reporting, and control functions across multiple investment vehicles. The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex private equity environment.

Responsibilities The Manager, Fund Accounting will be responsible for the following:
Financial Reporting & Audit Oversight:
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of quarterly and annual financial reporting across multiple fund structures, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Manage third-party administrators and oversee the preparation and delivery of quarterly and annual financial statement packages.
• Review and approve complex accounting matters, including carried interest and waterfall calculations.
• Lead the year-end audit process, serving as primary liaison with external auditors to ensure timely completion. Fund Accounting & Operational Oversight:
• Oversee the capital call and distribution process, including review and approval of investor allocations and notices.
• Manage credit facilities, including drawdowns, repayments, and covenant compliance.
• Review and approve management fee calculations, fund expenses, and related allocations.
• Oversee cash management, including liquidity planning, banking activity, and account administration.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver investor reporting and respond to ad hoc financial inquiries.
• Identify and implement process improvements; support and lead special projects within the finance function. Fund Legal & Regulatory Coordination:
• Assist with quarterly and annual regulatory filings in coordination with Legal and Compliance teams.
• Manage reporting requirements for Luxembourg and Cayman structures, ensuring alignment with local regulatory and operational frameworks.
• Interpret Limited Partnership Agreements and side letters to ensure financial reporting, allocations, and distributions are consistent with governing documents.
• Oversee NAV calculations and related compliance reporting across fund vehicles. In addition to the outlined responsibilities, you will be expected to handle ad hoc requests as they arise. Qualifications The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of success, a positive professional reputation, and the ability to exercise sound judgment and accountability. In addition, the successful candidate should have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA (or active candidate) strongly preferred
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in private equity fund accounting and/or Big 4 with significant private equity exposure
• Experience managing and developing team members
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and private equity fund structures
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Investran and Workday preferred
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership, auditors, administrators, and investors.
• High standards of accuracy, integrity, and professionalism.
• Strong technical accounting and analytical capabilities, including the ability to interpret complex legal documents and accounting guidance.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with sound judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

This role may periodically require work outside standard business hours to meet business needs and deadlines. This position is primarily performed in a professional office environment and involves prolonged computer use, regular communication by phone/video/email, attendance at meetings, and use of standard office equipment. Occasional business travel may be required based on business needs.
