Job Description Senior Executive-Accounts ReceivableSenior Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end reconciliation of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) deducted by customers against company receivables. The role ensures accurate accounting, timely follow-up for TDS certificates, reconciliation with Form 26AS / AIS, and coordination with internal finance, sales, and customer teams to minimize unreconciled balances. This role plays a critical part in ensuring correct tax credit claims and clean Accounts Receivable (AR) ledgers.1 Customer TDS Reconciliation ·Reconcile TDS deducted by customers against invoices raised. ·Match: oCustomer ledger balances oTDS receivable ledger oForm 26AS / AIS statements ·Identify short deduction / excess deduction cases. ·Ensure proper accounting entries for TDS receivable. 2️ Ledger Monitoring & Follow-ups ·Track pending TDS certificates (Form 16A). ·Coordinate with customers for: oMissing certificates oCorrection returns oPAN errors ·Maintain aging report of unreconciled TDS. 3️ Accounting & Compliance ·Ensure proper TDS posting in ERP (e.g., SAP). ·Support monthly/quarterly TDS reconciliation. ·Assist during statutory audits and tax assessments. ·Ensure compliance with Income Tax regulations. 4️ Coordination & Stakeholder Management ·Work closely with: oAccounts Receivable team oTaxation team oSales team oCustomers’ finance departments ·Escalate high-value discrepancies to Senior Manager.
5️ Reporting & MIS ·Prepare: oMonthly TDS reconciliation reports oCustomer-wise outstanding TDS reports oProvision summary for unclaimed TDS Provide inputs for financial closing.
