About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Wet/damp. Tasks: Assist forestry workers. Assist other logging workers. Attach cables or chokers to felled trees for yarding. Plant tree seedlings. Remove debris from logging site landing area. Operate chain saws to clear trails through woodlands. Spray herbicides from the ground using manual spraying equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Hand-eye co-ordination. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Reliability. Screening questions: Are you authorized to work in Canada?. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Employment terms options: Early morning. Morning. Day. Weekend. Overtime required.
