About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Keep a record of items received and delivered. Load and unload goods. Follow directions and read map. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks). Transportation/travel experience: Local. Provincial/territorial. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads.
