Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Prepare accident reports. Secure special attachments to equipment. Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment. Perform minor repairs to equipment. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Operate mobile crane. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate.
