Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Adjust, repair or replace mechanical system parts. Diagnose and isolate faults on engines. Discuss work with supervisor. Document your inspection and tests made on engines. Estimate repair costs. Review work orders . Perform scheduled maintenance and service. Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment. Repair and rebuild hoisting mechanism and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts.
