About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Tasks: Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Handling animals. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Perform animal grooming activities . Prepare cattle for exhibition. Supervise milking operations to ensure work is done correctly . Feed and tend animals. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Maintain financial and production records. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Maintain quality control and production records. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Maintain work records and logs. Perform general farm duties. Write daily basic progress reports. Employment terms options: Shift. Experience: Will train.
