*Job Summary* We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sandwich Artist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing fresh sandwiches and salads, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
*Duties*
* Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards and recipes * Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling * Engage with customers in a friendly manner to take orders and answer questions * Upsell additional menu items to enhance customer experience and sales * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas in compliance with food safety standards * Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods * Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change to customers * Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality of all products * Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels as needed
*Requirements*
* Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment is preferred * Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally * Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy * Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards in the food industry * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided * A positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role
Pay: $18.25-$24.13 per hour
