*Responsibilities*
* Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer specifications * Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling * Ensure all food items meet safety and sanitation standards during preparation and serving * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas * Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely delivery * Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales * Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service at the point of sale * Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times * Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
*Skills*
* Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments * Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for cashiering and order management * Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor * Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques * Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy * Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards * Experience with upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities * Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required
