*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French baking, with significant experience in the preparation and baking of croissants and Danish pastries.
As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods that meet our standards for taste, consistency, and presentation. This role is essential in delivering exceptional products and ensuring customer satisfaction.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare, laminate dough, and bake a variety of products, including croissants, breads, and French-style Danish pastries * Decorate baked items to enhance visual appeal in line with Tartelette standards * Follow Tartelette recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and quality * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards * Display baked goods in showcases, ensuring proper presentation * Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage inventory and baking supplies * Provide excellent customer service when required by engaging with customers and addressing their needs
*Requirements*
* Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in croissant and pastry production * Strong knowledge of French pastry techniques, especially croissants and laminated doughs * Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations * Proficiency in food handling techniques * Strong skills in decorating and presentation * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment * Excellent attention to detail and creativity * Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude * Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required
