We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment. This role offers an opportunity to work with a supportive team in a modern dental setting, emphasizing patient education and oral health. We are currently hiring for Thursdays from 11:30-7:30, Fridays from 8:30-1:30 and one Saturday per month from 8:30-2.
*Duties*
* Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning teeth, scaling, and polishing to prevent oral disease * Take and develop dental radiographs as needed * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures * Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software * Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments * Ensure the sterilization of instruments and maintain infection control standards * Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication * Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns in a professional manner
*Experience*
* Previous experience working in a dental office is preferred, especially with pediatric or orthodontic cases * Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software is advantageous * Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is beneficial * Experience in dental assisting or related roles enhances the ability to support clinical operations effectively * Strong customer service skills are essential for creating a positive patient experience

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
