About this role
Small residential construction company looking for candidates to perform construction and carpentry duties such as but not limited to; demolition, framing and drywall.
Candidate must posses extensive knowledge of residential construction and renovations including standards, techniques, materials, specifications, quality control, safety regulations and Ontario building codes. Ability to read blueprints an asset.
Work experience:
5 years related experience preferred.
Skills:
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Decision making.
Good physical strength.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Education:
Carpentry education is an asset.
Travel:
Valid Drivers License required.
Willingness to travel to various job sites with own reliable transportation. Some projects may be away jobs requiring overnight stays (accommodation and meals provided)
Wage:
Wage depends on experience starting at $23.00 per hour
Job Types: Full-time, Contract Contract length: 4 months
