Tasks: Manage feed inventory activities . Monitoring animal health. Raise and breed livestock and poultry. Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings. Manage overall operation of farm. Purchase machinery, livestock, seed, feed and other supplies. Determine the amount and kinds of crops to be grown and livestock to be raised. Maintain financial and production records. Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Negotiate with clients for provision of services. Maintain quality control and production records. Hire and train staff. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Maintain livestock performance records. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs.
