Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Noisy. Dusty. Tasks: Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials. Perform pre-operational inspection. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Concrete pump operator Licence. Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete vibrators. Construction specialization: Driveways. Industrial, commercial and institutional. Residential. Sidewalks and curbs. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
