<p>Finance is more than just numbers and balance sheets. It is a key partner to all other business areas, supporting them in planning, managing, and optimizing business processes. The department's main focus is on analyzing, evaluating, and presenting financial performance. A passion for finance and teamwork is at the forefront, offering excellent development opportunities.</p> <p><strong>You can look forward to these exciting tasks:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Execute monthly general ledger (GL) accounting activities, including posting of manual journal entries, maintaining accounts, and processing accruals.</li> <li>Independently prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries, ensuring proper supporting documentation and alignment with accounting policies.</li> <li>Perform asset accounting activities such as asset creation, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and scrapping in compliance with accounting policies.</li> <li>Manage and reconcile bank statements, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies</li> <li>Coordinate and perform period-end and month-end closing activities in collaboration with local and global finance teams</li> <li>Ensure timely and accurate completion of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations </li> <li>Prepare documentation and provide necessary financial data and support to external auditors during audits. </li> <li>Develop, maintain, and continuously improve desktop procedures and process documentation to ensure operational consistency and compliance.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>This is what you bring to us:</strong></p> <ul> <li>1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a shared service environment.</li> <li>College degree in Business Administration or equivalent accounting qualification. </li> <li>Working experience with SAP-FI. </li> <li>Advanced knowledge of MS office tools (MS Outlook and Excel). </li> <li>Excellent English skills, one further European language is desirable. </li> <li>Communication skills and cooperative mindset and a high level of accountability and accuracy. </li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li> <li>Critical Thinking to analyze complex topics </li> <li>Team player with a good sense of different company/ country cultures.</li> </ul><p>Applications from qualified individuals with disabilities are expressly welcome.</p> <p><b>Your contact person:</b><br> Rafael Rocha, People & Organization Lisboa, PT </p> <p>Get to know us <a href="https://www.webasto.com/en-int/career.html">here</a> and find out why we are passionate about attracting talent to Webasto.<br> We look forward to receiving your online application!</p>
