The Graphics Designer is responsible for coordinating, driving, and managing product graphics change execution as part of new product development, lifecycle management, and special projects. Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for designing and developing product graphics, illustrations and layouts (e.g. boxes, cartons, paper folders, overwraps, instructions for use and other product graphics) for new and existing products. • Perform on‑press proofing for color standards & content. • Communicate with suppliers for file / database transmissions of updated product information to support the creation or modification of labeling. • Responsible for performing graphics changes and execution of label development tasks. • Supports and participates in the design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototypes. • Provide training and mentoring to peers, junior team members, third parties and external consultants. • Responsible for creating, maintaining, updating and documenting graphic artworks in accordance with applicable standards. • Responsible for compliance tasks in support of non-conformances and CAPAs. Qualifications Education:
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s or equivalent University Degree is required. Experience and Skills: Required:
• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience. • Understanding of traditional and electronic prepress. • Understanding of printing processes. • Experience in the Medical Device industry is desirable. • Verbal and written communication skills • Working in environment across geographies and organizations. • Analytic problem solving preferred. • Works efficiently and establishes relationships across functions and stakeholders. • Organized and detail oriented. • Strong Interpersonal and Prioritization skills. • Knowledge in desktop publishing, graphic software such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, and MS Office software is desirable • Personal computer skills, MS Office applications, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Teams Preferred:
• Strong desktop publishing and graphic software skills. • Experience in cross-functional teamwork. • Proven understanding of an end-to-end Supply Chain • Ethicon product knowledge Other:
• English language proficiency is required. Written and Oral. • May require up to 5% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites.
