Description of Post
The Assistant Lecturer will deliver modules in the area of Physiotherapy and in particular the specialist area of Respiratory Physiotherapy.
Please note: The postholder will be based at the ATU Donegal, Letterkenny Campus.
Essential Qualifications
Minimum
Applicants must hold a An Honours degree (2.2 or higher) in Physiotherapy Therapy at Level 8 degree as specified in the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ)] or equivalent. Must be registered with CORU or HCPC Three years relevant post-qualification experience in the area of Respiratory Physiotherapy
Desirable
A postgraduate qualification at MSc or PhD level. Experience of lecturing in a 3rd level environment. Experience in the development of new programmes and curricular development. Experience in the supervision of placements. Actively engaged in conducting research. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work in teams.
