Job Description: Basic Function: The Payroll Assistant is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the weekly payroll, consisting of approximately 1,800 non-exempt employees (including fluctuating student worker population). This individual maintains and submits payments for employee benefit programs, submits payroll tax payments, electronically transfers bank and benefit contribution files, and maintains payroll procedure documentation.
