POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking an exceptional software leader to drive the future of its reality capture software business and shape software strategy across the broader Geosystems division. Operating with enterprise-wide influence, this executive will combine strong general management capabilities, proven P&L ownership, and deep software expertise to accelerate growth, innovation, and customer value creation. The Head of Reality Capture Software will define and execute the strategy for Geosystems’ reality capture software ecosystem, connecting capabilities across scanning, mobile mapping, UAVs, autonomous platforms, sensors, and cloud technologies. The role will drive the delivery of integrated solutions serving customers across construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, mining, utilities, public safety, and geospatial markets. • Lead software strategy and execution across Geosystems, creating a seamless customer experience across business units and product portfo • Drive alignment across product roadmaps, investment priorities, customer needs, and commercial objectives. • Identify and unlock synergies across technologies, platforms, and go-to-market organizations. • Influence senior stakeholders across divisional leadership, regional teams, and corporate functions. • Champion AI-first approaches in both product development and internal software operations. General Management & Commercial Ownership
• Own business performance with accountability for growth, profitability, investment prioritization, and long-term value creation • Apply strong P&L discipline to portfolio management, resource allocation, pricing, packaging, and operating model decisions • Partner closely with sales and regional leaders to accelerate software growth, customer adoption, retention, and expansion opportunities • Support strategic customer relationships, major commercial negotiations, and executive-level engagements globally Product, Software & R&D Leadership
• Define and execute the multi-year strategy for the reality capture software portfolio across desktop, cloud, SaaS, mobile, and API-based solutions • Build and lead high-performing teams across product management, engineering, UX, QA, DevOps, and program management • Strengthen the connection between product strategy, software delivery, and R&D to accelerate innovation and execution excellence • Drive improvements in speed-to-market, platform scalability, software quality, reliability, and cybersecurity • Champion modern software development practices, including Agile, DevSecOps, platform engineering, and cloud-native architectures Reality Capture Portfolio Leadership
• Drive software innovation across reality capture technologies including LiDAR, photogrammetry, mobile mapping, SLAM, digital twins, analytics, and visualization. • Ensure seamless integration between sensors, capture devices, workflows, and downstream software applications • Promote interoperability across customer ecosystems including CAD, GIS, BIM, ERP, and construction technology platforms • Translate emerging market needs into differentiated products and scalable customer outcomes Growth & Innovation
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities in AI, automation, digital twins, smart infrastructure, autonomous operations, and geospatial intelligence. • Evaluate strategic partnerships, ecosystem collaborations, and M&A opportunities to strengthen market leadership. • Represent Hexagon Geosystems externally with customers, partners, analysts, and industry forums. ABOUT YOU
• 15+ years of executive leadership experience in enterprise software, industrial technology, geospatial technology, or related sectors. • Proven track record of P&L ownership and scaling global software businesses. • Experience leading across multiple business units or enterprise software platforms within complex global organizations. • Demonstrated success building, scaling, and transforming software organizations with strong engineering and R&D foundations. • Deep understanding of reality capture, scanning, mapping, or adjacent sensor-driven technology environments. • Expertise in one or more of the following domains: LiDAR, photogrammetry, digital twins, GIS, BIM, CAD, surveying, autonomous systems, or industrial software. • Strong record of driving growth through product innovation, commercial execution, and operational excellence. • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and executive influencing skills.
