About this role
• Develop, implement, and monitor fire safety policies and procedures in line with statutory requirements. • Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification related to fire and safety across project sites. • Ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations, standards, and guidelines. • Plan and conduct fire drills, safety training, and awareness programs for employees and contractors. • Inspect and ensure proper maintenance of fire protection systems (fire alarms, extinguishers, sprinkler systems, hydrants, etc.). • Lead investigations of fire incidents and near-miss cases, and implement corrective and preventive actions. • Coordinate with external agencies such as fire departments, safety auditors, and regulatory authorities. • Supervise and guide site safety officers and fire safety teams. • Maintain proper documentation, reports, and compliance records related to fire safety. • Support project teams in ensuring safe work practices and emergency preparedness plans.
• Education: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Fire & Safety / Industrial Safety • Diploma / Certification in Fire & Safety (Mandatory) • Experience: • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in fire and safety management • Experience in construction, real estate, infrastructure, or industrial projects preferred
• Skills & Competencies: • Strong knowledge of fire safety systems and safety regulations • Good understanding of risk assessment and emergency response planning • Excellent leadership and team management skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Effective communication and training skills
