Main duties of the job As a Trainee Consultant Mammographer, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centred breast imaging services while developing the knowledge and skills required for Consultant-level practice. You will perform mammography examinations, contribute to multidisciplinary team working, participate in audit, quality assurance and service improvement activities, and support evidence-based practice. You'll work alongside experienced Consultant Mammographers, Radiologists and specialist teams to broaden your clinical expertise while developing leadership, education and research skills. Throughout the programme, you'll be supported to provide compassionate care, maintain the highest professional standards and contribute to the ongoing development of breast screening services.
