Summary: Under the guidance of the Head of Cintana International Transfer Student Experience, the Cintana Transfer Specialist serves as the primary operational and student success liaison supporting transfer pathways between Arizona State University and ASU-Cintana Institution (ACI) partner universities. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day processes that facilitate student mobility, enrollment progression, and academic success across the Global Link Pathway programs.

Working closely with university advisors, admissions and articulation personnel, academic units, and Global Academic Initiatives leadership, the Cintana Transfer Specialist ensures a smooth student experience from pipeline through transfer, enrollment, retention, and degree completion. The position provides critical oversight of student data, advising coordination, enrollment tracking, and pathway implementation while serving as a key resource for ASU units and partner institutions . Essential Duties:

Student Success and Pathway Management

● Monitor and support student progression through transfer pathways, from prospective applicant through enrollment, retention, and degree completion, identifying and addressing barriers to success. ● Collaborate with academic advisors and partner university personnel to resolve student pathway issues, including plan-of-study concerns, transfer credit questions, and academic progression challenges. ● Develop and deliver training, resources, and guidance to advisors and partner institution staff to support effective pathway implementation and student success.

Admissions and Enrollment Management

● Facilitate and monitor the admissions and enrollment pipeline for students transferring from ACI partner universities. ● Coordinate with admissions, enrollment services, academic units, and partner institutions to ensure efficient processing, communication, and onboarding of students. ● Track enrollment activity and trends, providing operational support to improve applicant conversion, matriculation, and student engagement. Data Management and Continuous Improvement ● Maintain accurate student and program records and monitor key metrics related to enrollment, retention, persistence, and student success. ● Develop reports, dashboards, and data summaries to support decision-making, program assessment, and stakeholder communication. ● Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce barriers, and enhance the transfer student experience through data-informed recommendations and operational improvements.

Desired Qualifications:

● Experience supporting transfer students, articulation agreements, pathway programs, dual-degree programs, or international student mobility initiatives. ● Experience in higher education advising, admissions, enrollment management, student success, transfer services, especially for international students. ● Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, departments, or external partners. ● Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting student enrollment, retention, persistence, graduation, or other student success metrics. ● Experience developing and delivering training sessions, workshops, webinars, or resource materials for advisors, staff, or external partners. ● Experience creating and maintaining process documentation, operational procedures, or workflow guides. ● Experience using student information systems, CRM platforms, and reporting tools, preferably PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Airtable, and/or Hubspot. ● Experience analyzing data and preparing reports, dashboards, or presentations to inform decision-making and program evaluation. ● Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. ● Ability to build effective relationships across diverse cultural and institutional contexts. ● Demonstrated commitment to student success and customer service excellence.

Working Environment:

• Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse

• Frequently required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work

• Flexible work arrangement options are available based on job duties and department approval
