Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? Crest Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive team.

In this rewarding role, you will support students with a range of learning needs, helping to remove barriers and enable every learner to achieve their full potential. Working closely with teachers, you will play a key part in delivering engaging lessons, boosting confidence, and supporting both academic and personal development.

Key responsibilities:

Provide in-class and one-to-one support to students to enhance learning and engagementAssist teachers in delivering inclusive, well-structured lessonsHelp identify and address individual learning needs and barriersSupport students’ social, emotional, and behavioural developmentEncourage independence, confidence, and active participation in learning

Pay range:

NJC SCP 8 - 12 £23,592.34 - £25,152.62 + £3,518.09 (Inner London Weighting)

Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week Working Weeks: 39 Weeks Per Year

FTE: £26,824 - £28,598 + £4,000 (Inner London Weighting)

Qualifications and Skills:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and MathsTeaching Assistant Qualification Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to support a range of learning needs with patience and adaptability
