We serve a range of carbon-emitting industries including cement, blue hydrogen, bio/waste-to-energy, and gas-to-power among others. SLB Capturi is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials.
We are looking for a Controls & Safety Systems Engineer
Responsibilities:
Participate in projects and provide support for both Norwegian and international assignmentsCollaborate with control system lead engineer and suppliers during the engineering phase to ensure alignment with project requirementsTake part in on-site commissioning & start-up activities for various ongoing and future projectsProvide technical support and troubleshooting for control & safety systems after commissioningManage software versions across multiple plants, ensuring full traceability & complianceTrack, manage & document software changes in a structured and auditable mannerContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to standardization of control and safety system practicesContribute to life cycle management for the control system portfolioYour qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Controls or Automation engineering (or similar) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience from project workExpertise in Siemens TIA portal, Rockwell Studio 5000 programming toolsA multidisciplinary understanding and its impact on control and safety systemExperienced in implementing, testing and validating SIL loops in compliance with IEC61511Experience in design & testing of various bus interfaces for control systemKnowledgeable in design and commissioning of Fire detection, Gas detection, and alarming systems is an advantageStrong analytical mindset with proven ability to use standardized solutions for optimal designPreferably experience in the land-based industryYou are:
