About Eleving GroupOur mission is to enable upward social mobility for people in diverse communities around the world by providing entrepreneurs who are excluded from traditional banking systems, access to credit. By combining asset financing, fintech, AI-based underwriting, and proprietary car portals, we enable these local entrepreneurs (motorcycle taxi riders, Uber/Bolt drivers, and small business owners) to find and purchase their own vehicles.
We are looking for a Financial Controller to help achieve regional financial efficiency.
NB: Relocation to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania is required.
What you will need:Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
Business savviness, interest in business development & management
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software and databases
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-orientation with a commitment to accuracy
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in English
Can-do attitude and ownership mindset
Will be considered as an advantage:
Previous experience in the fields of finance, business administration, project management, and similar
What you will do:Establish robust financial processes, internal controls, and best practices to safeguard assets and enhance efficiency.
Own monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Partner with local and regional stakeholders, providing financial insights and analysis to guide commercial and operational decision-making.
Manage relationships with local banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other financial partners.
Collaborate closely with the Hub regional finance team to ensure smooth integration into Eleving Group’s financial ecosystem.
Lead initiatives to drive cost efficiency and operational improvements through data-driven analysis and financial insights.
Monitor adherence to local regulations and international accounting standards, proactively mitigating financial risks.
