The Associate Equipment Engineer is responsible for establishing, qualifying, and releasing test handler conversion kits and test contactor capability to support new product releases, migration activities, and resiliency projects across ADGT and ADI SEA subcontractors. This role works closely with Manufacturing, Test Engineering, and Subcontractor Engineering to ensure equipment readiness, align technical requirements, and support on-time project execution. The position also reviews and approves product requirements and related project documentation in systems such as PRIME, APR, TCD and TRB to ensure smooth implementation and release readiness.
Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
Experience:
• Experience in operating semiconductor test handler equipment and sustaining production lines is an advantage. • Familiarity with semiconductor test contactor designs and maintenance is an advantage.
Knowledge, skill and abilities:
• Must possess strong communication and coordination skills. • Ability to work and collaborate with cross functional groups
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
• Review new product requirements and translate them into handler and contactor capability needs • Establish, qualify, and release test handler conversion kits and test contactor capability for new product releases, migrations and resiliency projects across ADGT and ADI SEA subcontractors • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Test Engineering, and Subcontractor Engineering to ensure equipment readiness for product release • Ensure qualification, release, and implementation activities are completed on time to meet project milestones • Review and approve requirements and project documentation in PRIME, APR, TCD and other related systems • Communicate technical requirements, progress, and risks clearly to internal stakeholders and subcontractor engineering teams • Drive issue resolution related to hardware capability, qualification gaps, and schedule readiness • Support continuous improvement of equipment qualification and release processes for new products • Enroll and update projects in TRB until close
