At Analog Devices Automotive Cabin Experience Istanbul Design Center, you will be able to work together with a global team, who has designed and introduced many successful products that won sockets from top car makers in Europe, Asia and the USA. We, as GMSL SerDes group, are developing integrated circuits for automotive and high-speed serial data communications for next generation safety and infotainment systems and autonomous vehicles.
As a design evaluation engineer, you will be responsible from validating and characterizing complex mixed-signal integrated circuits developed in GMSL SerDes group. You will have the opportunity to work with digital design, analog design, as well as application engineering and test engineering teams.
This hands-on job is a unique opportunity for someone who is willing to have a top-level understanding of complex integrated circuits and to work in collaboration with various teams within GMSL group.
Main responsibilities:
• Functional bench evaluation of IC prototypes designed in GMSL SerDes group. Trying to find any functional limitations and performance bottlenecks by extensive and detailed bench tests. • Working with other engineers in development of new characterization PCBs and platforms that will be used to test the next generation GMSL chips being designed by Analog Devices. • Implementing APIs and scripts for these GMSL characterization platforms. Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
• BSEE or MSEE with specialization in IC/Hardware testing/characterization. • Knowledge of electronic systems architecture, design, and hardware debug experience • Working knowledge of PCB design and layout • Python knowledge is plus. • Experience is I2C, SPI, UART, I2S is a plus. • Experience in embedded developent is a plus. • Fluent communication in English and teamwork skills
