About this role
<p><strong>Your Mission</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Provide regular care, in-servicing and maintenance of documentation, telepresence, integrated theatre equipment and instruments for customers in the field.</li> <li>Responsible for providing technical support and expertise to existing and potential customers.</li> <li>Diagnosing and solving issues where necessary.</li> <li>Provide QA control and service support including telephone/email support.</li> <li>Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner and that all operations and outcomes conform to AS/NZS3551 and KARL STORZ Australia ISO9001 policy.</li> <li>Ensure assessment and maintenance reports are sent to customers in a timely manner.</li> <li>Ensure all work is logged and all appropriate documentation completed in a timely manner to enable efficient processing of jobs with the use of internal systems such as Salesforce and SAP.</li> <li>Work closely with the Business Units to build a complete offering for customers, from sale to service.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your Talents</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>A tertiary qualification in electrical, electrical engineering or biomedical engineering is preferred, however not essential.</li> <li>Electrical Safety Testing certification.</li> <li>Previous experience in medical devices and instrumentation.</li> <li>Sound troubleshooting skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, being able to work with different personalities in a hospital/ theatre environment.</li> <li>Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability.</li> <li>Familiarity with hospital/surgical environments and Australian standards AS3551 and AS3200 will also be highly regarded.</li> <li>The ability to understand and impart technical knowledge across a broad portfolio of products.</li> </ul><h4><strong>Your Benefits</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Leave Benefits (Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Parental Leave, etc.)</li> <li>Birthday Benefits</li> <li>Transport Allowance (if applicable to role)</li> <li>Onsite Parking</li> <li>Accessibility to Public Transport</li> <li>Flexible Work Arrangements</li> <li>Wellness Programs and Activities</li> <li>Professional Development Opportunities</li> <li>Global Exposure & Business Travel Opportunities (if applicable to role)</li> <li>All other statutory benefits</li> </ul>
