Job Purpose The role is responsible for leading and managing the wealth management strategy across multiple branches within a designated region. This role focuses on driving high-net-worth client acquisition, deepening client relationships, and ensuring consistent delivery of superior wealth solutions and services.
Job Responsibilities
1. Regional Wealth Strategy & Execution
• Develop and implement regional strategies to grow the wealth management portfolio.
• Analyze market trends and client demographics to tailor regional offerings.
• Align regional goals with national wealth management objectives.
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Wealth Managers and Relationship Managers.
• Set and monitor performance targets, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on client satisfaction and revenue growth.
3. Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).
• Provide strategic financial advice and customized wealth solutions.
• Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional client experiences across the region.
4. Sales & Product Penetration
• Drive cross-selling of investment, insurance, and banking products.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure regional product relevance.
• Monitor and report on sales performance and product uptake.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Monitor risk exposure and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain compliance standards.
6. Stakeholder Engagement
• Liaise with internal stakeholders including branch managers, product teams, and compliance.
• Represent the region in national wealth management initiatives and strategy sessions.
• Act as a key point of contact for escalations and strategic discussions.
Job Requirements
• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or relevant field.
• In depth knowledge of Wealth Management Products relating to investment, insurance, and banking solutions.
• Knowledge of financial advisory practices, estate planning, and retirement strategies.
• Familiar with local and international financial regulations and risk management.
• Awareness of economic indicators, financial markets, and competitor offerings.
• Proficient in using customer relationship management systems and digital platforms.
• Able to lead, coach, and inspire a team of wealth professionals.
• Capable of developing and executing regional strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Possess strong skills in selling financial products and negotiating with high-net-worth clients.
• Proficient in analysing financial data, market trends, and client portfolios.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong decision-making and conflict resolution capabilities.
