About the Role The VP, Product & Strategy – Platform leads Togetherwork’s shared platform organization, overseeing the foundational services that power every product across the company. This role is responsible for defining and executing the platform strategy that enables scalability, innovation, and operational excellence across all portfolios.

The VP serves as the architectural and strategic leader for Payments, Payments Marketplace, Data, Reporting, AI/ML, Integrations, Onboarding, Managed Services modernization, and UI/UX frameworks. They will build and lead a new team from the ground up, ensuring Togetherwork’s core platform services are reliable, performant, and drive measurable impact.

This leader partners closely with Engineering, Architecture, Data, and Product teams to ensure cross-portfolio alignment and enablement. They will define success metrics, govern platform roadmap execution, and drive adoption of shared services across the company.

Key Responsibilities

Define and communicate the long-term platform strategy powering all Togetherwork portfolios.

Build the Platform team from the ground up as the newest strategic investment in Togetherwork’s growth.

Govern platform roadmap execution, ensuring alignment with company priorities and engineering excellence.

Partner with Engineering, Architecture, and Data teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.

Oversee the development of Payments, Reporting, AI/ML, and Data capabilities that enhance product outcomes.

Lead internal enablement sessions and publish quarterly roadmap updates for cross-portfolio visibility.

Define success metrics for platform adoption, utilization, and ROI.

Serve as the senior escalation point for platform delivery issues or risks.

Champion data democratization, AI adoption, and platform-driven efficiency.

Model Togetherwork’s leadership expectations: transparency, collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

Strategic & Financial Accountability

Own the platform enablement budget, roadmap investment recommendations, and KPIs.

Partner with Finance, Engineering, and Product leadership on planning and forecasting for ELT review.

Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews to assess platform ROI and enablement progress.

Ensure platform initiatives deliver measurable business and customer outcomes.

Leadership & Team Development

Build the Platform organization into a high-performing innovation engine.

Coach and develop leaders to drive strategic and technical maturity.

Foster a culture of learning, shared ownership, and AI-enabled decision-making.

Promote collaboration across Product and Engineering teams to drive platform adoption.

Key Metrics / Success Measures

Speed and quality of platform team build-out.

10x improvement in UI/UX frameworks and delivery efficiency.

Platform reliability, uptime, and adoption across portfolios.

Increased shared service utilization and AI integration.

Demonstrable ROI from platform investments.

Consistent cadence of MBR/QBR completion and roadmap publication.

Improved engagement and leadership feedback scores.
