Job Summary The Chlorine Utilities (CU) Plant produces chlorine, hydrogen, caustic soda and utilities that are essential for the production processes on site. The plant operates 24/7 through a five-shift organization, supported by a day organization with expertise in Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Reliability and EHS. Safe, reliable and efficient operations are the responsibility of the entire plant organization. The day organization and shift teams work closely together to maintain plant performance, solve operational issues and implement improvements. This position is part of the day organization of the Chlorine Utilities Plant. The role supports the shift organization with technical expertise, coordinates with supporting disciplines and contributes to the safe and reliable operation of the plant. The Operations Engineer supports the daily operation of the Chlorine Utilities Plant by monitoring plant performance, resolving operational issues and identifying improvement opportunities. The role helps maximize plant availability while maintaining safe, stable and efficient operations.
